Reed Practice are delighted to have been engaged by a highly respected local Chartered Certified accountancy practice, one of the largest independent firms in the region, to recruit a Junior Accounts Manager to join their motivated, technically skilled, and ambitious team.
As Junior Accounts Manager you will report directly to the Partners, and manage your own portfolio of clients, consisting of a selection of companies with the most complex accounting needs.
As key liaison between the firm and the clients, the technical tasks will include, but are not limited to:
• Preparing year end accounts, including their largest limited clients.
• Creating and review self-assessment and corporate tax returns.
• Liaising with the Bookkeeping team
• Onboarding of new clients
• Reviewing the work of junior team members.
• Liaising with senior management on client project budgets, offering updates and feedback.
If you have audit experience and are open to maintaining your hand in this field, or wish to learn audit, then you can have the opportunity to assist of some of the firms’ audits. If not, the post will be accounts and tax tasks only.

To apply you will preferably be qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) or finalist level with significant appropriate experience in a UK accountancy firm.
Experience should include that of a Junior Manager -
• Preparing year end accounts and tax returns
• A knowledge of VAT and bookkeeping (for when liaising with the relevant internal departments),
• Client relationship development and helping junior team members.
