Job description

ABOUT US
Established in late 2022 with the backing of VisionFund, Fredericks & Partners is an international consulting firm dedicated to assisting visionary change-makers in shaping the future. Operating as a unified team spanning two cities and two nations, we collaborate closely with our clients to achieve exceptional results. By combining our specialised, integrated knowledge with a thriving ecosystem of digital entrepreneurs, we consistently surpass expectations, redefine industry standards, and deliver superior, faster, and more enduring outcomes. Committed to making a meaningful impact, our five-year pledge involves donating over £1 million in pro bono services. This commitment aims to address urgent issues in education, racial equity, social justice, economic development, and the environment, as we bring our talent, knowledge, and insights directly to organisations striving for positive change.

What We're Looking For
As a Junior Associate at Fredericks & Partners, you will embark on a challenging and rewarding journey as a vital member of our consulting team. This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates eager to contribute to real-world projects and kickstart their consulting careers. What sets this opportunity apart is the inclusion in our prestigious Associates Mentorship Program, which provides unparalleled guidance and mentorship from seasoned industry professionals.

This graduate position not only offers an excellent entry point into the consulting industry but also includes enrollment in our exclusive Associates Mentorship Program, positioning successful candidates for accelerated professional growth and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Support: Collaborate with project teams to assist in the execution of consulting initiatives. Conduct research, gather data, and contribute to the development of client deliverables.
  • Learning and Development: Participate in training programs to enhance your consulting skills and industry knowledge. Engage in continuous learning opportunities to stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Associates Mentorship Program: Gain exclusive access to mentorship from experienced consultants within the firm. Receive personalised guidance and support to navigate your career path in consulting.
  • Client Interaction: Work closely with client-facing teams to understand client needs and contribute to client engagements. Develop strong client relationships and contribute to the delivery of exceptional client service.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with associates from various teams to gain exposure to diverse consulting disciplines. Contribute your insights and fresh perspectives to team discussions and problem-solving.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field (you must have graduated/be graduating within the next/last 6 months).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in consulting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills through academic or extracurricular activities.

Our Interview Process

  • One-way Video Interview: Upon your application passing the first screening stage, you will receive an invitation to participate in a one-way video interview. You'll be prompted to record video answers to pre-configured questions. This step allows us to assess your communication skills and learn more about you.
  • Screening Call: If successful in the video interview, you'll have a virtual screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition Team. This is an opportunity for us to discuss your background, skills, and motivations for applying. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about the role and the company.
  • MS Teams Call: A virtual meeting using MS Teams will be scheduled to further explore your qualifications and discuss how your skills align with the requirements of the Junior Associate role. This conversation will delve deeper into your experiences and aspirations.
  • First Interview: The first in-person interview will take place at our London-based office. This interview will focus on understanding your professional background, your interest in the role, and how well you align with our company culture.
  • Technical Interview: For this stage, you'll be required to prepare a presentation on a relevant topic to assess your specific skills and knowledge relevant to the Junior Associate position. Be prepared to showcase your abilities and problem-solving skills related to the tasks you may encounter in this role.
  • Group Interview: We believe in collaboration, and this group interview provides an opportunity for you to interact with potential team members. This session will assess how well you work in a team environment and your ability to communicate and contribute to group discussions.
  • Final Interview: The final interview takes place with a senior partner at the firm. This meeting is a chance for both parties to address any remaining questions and ensure a mutual fit. You'll have the opportunity to gain insights into the company's strategic vision, and we'll discuss how your skills and aspirations align with our long-term goals.

BENEFITS
  • 32 days annual leave, excluding bank holidays (increasing by a day for every year of service up to 5 years)
  • Profit-based bonus scheme increasing with length of service (sliding scale percentage based on seniority)
  • Performance-based bonus of up to 25% of your annual salary
  • Private health and travel insurance provided by Vitality (with no excess payable by the employee)
  • Wellbeing programme including partially-subsidised Apple Watch Series 8 (through Vitality) and fully-subsidised gym membership to ThirdSpace (access to all 6 clubs in London excluding Mayfair flagship)
  • Weekly Deliveroo credit to spend on lunch in the office
  • Cosmetic products through our exclusive Rituals partnership
