The Junior Back End Developer is a key team member responsible for contributing to the development and improvement of our sports betting solution and associated systems. They work alongside senior developers and team leads to implement features, fix bugs, and optimize performance.

While working on various projects within a cross-platform framework, the Junior Back End Developer will have the opportunity to learn and grow their skills. The Junior Back End Developer plays a pivotal role in the development team, contributing to the success of projects while gaining valuable experience and skills in back-end technologies and software development practices.
Relocation to Isle of Man is required (relocation assistance provided)

• Develop and maintain server-side sports betting solutions and gaming products.
• Contribute to product vision and feature prioritization.
• Collaborate with front-end developers for seamless integration.
• Design, build, and refactor products and features.
• Perform UI tests and optimize performance.
• Take ownership and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure accurate estimations and measure product quality.
• Launch products to enhance global expansion.
• Enhance value proposition for customers.
• Communicate project status and updates effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding with back-end languages and JavaScript frameworks.
• Proficiency in Linux system principles and commands.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with MySQL, web servers, and UI/UX design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in Golang is advantageous.
• Proficient in writing tickets and documentation.
• Competent in release management for timely delivery.
• Ability to select appropriate tools for requirements.
