Junior Buyer

Eden Scott are delighted to be working with a client seeking a Junior Buyer to join their team based in the North of Aberdeen on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate would be tasked with fostering a unified and coordinated procurement strategy as well as overseeing all aspects of their client contracts and supporting the overall buying function.
What you will be responsible for…
Sources and supplies goods/services in alignment with client KPIs.
Achieves targets through gainshare/baseline models, negotiating discounts for additional profit.
Identifies and engages new suppliers, ensuring completion of pre-qualification questionnaires.
Negotiates costs and payment terms, upholding quality, delivery, and technical standards.
Operates procurement processes in accordance with company QHSE standards.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of clients' business and contract objectives.
Develops customer relations with new and existing clients, attending marketing meetings.
Understands the company's environmental management system, including policies and controls.
What you need to have…
Experience within procurement.
Proficient in the use of relevant IT systems.
MRO product knowledge (desired)
Strong people skills
