Junior Clinical Fellow - Cardiology

To work as part of the junior medical team supporting CCU and C1 Undertake elective cardioversion lists and a pre cardioversion clinic (after appropriate training) Attend complex device MDTs Support the oncall consultant with inreach to acute medical areas once ward tasks are completed Work as a member of the cardiology multidisciplinary team to support evidenced based care for cardiac conditions To adhere to local guidelines for infection control and prevention Comply with local standards for mandatory and statutory training. Daily ward rounds are consultant led and the Clinical Fellow will receive training in all the common cardiac conditions cared for on Coronary Care. There will be the opportunity to see a wide range of cardiac procedures including complex device implants, bradycardia pacing, transthoracic and transoesphageal echo, dobutamine stress echo and pericardiocentesis and temporary pacing
