Junior Content Producer (Level 3 Apprenticeship)

Remit are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Oxford, who are on the lookout for a Junior Content Producer to join their team, who specialise in high-quality renditions of book manuscripts to ePUB for all eReaders such as iPad, iPhone, Kindle, NOOK, etc.

• Salary: £12,480 pa
• Location: Kennington, Oxford, OX1
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm
• Qualification: Level 3Junior Content Producer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designing and typesetting print books for clients using Adobe InDesign
• Create and edit content on existing and new websites for our web development and hosting arm
• Develop eBooks and audiobooks
• Updating and creating web and print assets for the book fair including social media adverts, posters, flyers etc.
• Dealing with email correspondence from exhibitors as well as assisting in the setup of their online profiles.
• Administration work, such as taking and collating orders for advertising.

Ideal Candidate:

A good level of competence with using PC based applications is required, and the candidate will be using a range of applications including:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe InDesign
• Excel, Word and other MS Office tools
• OneNote
• Audacity sound editor
• WordPress

Statutory holidays are provided for, along with all the usual sickness and maternity/ paternity leave that the law requires.
