About the role
To act in part as Quality Assurance whilst also covering Data Science and Engineering for medialake.ai.
Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA):
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test cases.
- Execute manual and automated testing procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
- Identify and report bugs, issues, and inconsistencies, working closely with developers to resolve them efficiently.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
Data Science:
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and analysis of data to derive meaningful insights.
- Collaborate with data scientists to implement and test machine learning models.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of data-driven applications.
- Work with large datasets and perform data wrangling tasks as needed.
Engineering:
- Participate in the design and implementation of software solutions according to project requirements.
- Collaborate with senior developers to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of software documentation.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects.
Requirements
- Collaboration and Communication to ensure you work closely with team members to understand project goals and timelines.Adaptability and Flexibility within changing project requirements and priorities.Good Time Management to effectively manage time and prioritise tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of PHP and Javascript
- Experience of writing automated tests
- Experience of git or other VC
