About The Role
We are currently looking to expand our Marketing Department with the addition of a Junior Digital Media Designer! This is a key role supporting our continuous development, providing the opportunity to work on a variety of creative projects as part of our strategic plan to deliver an award-winning digital experience to our customers.
As a Junior Digital Media Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the creative process, assisting in the development of captivating digital content across various platforms. You will contribute fresh ideas and innovative concepts, ensuring that our digital presence remains engaging and impactful. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for design, you will adapt quickly to project requirements and deliver high-quality work within deadlines. This role offers an exciting opportunity to hone your skills, learn from experienced professionals, and make meaningful contributions to our digital initiatives.
This role is based fully on-site at our Head Office in Barton-Upon-Humber.
Main responsibilities:
- Deliver the best in class designs to help raise awareness, drive purchase consideration and intent
- Work with the Social Media and Digital Acquisition teams to confirm content calendars, provide updates, suggest new ideas etc
- Design engaging adverts for Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
- Produce short form videos – both animated and traditional
- Be an active member of the design team, sharing your knowledge and contributing to the design culture within the wider team

About You
- Desired skills and knowledge:*
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or other video editing software
- An ability to quickly formulate ideas – whether through sketches, animated storyboards or mock-ups
- Experience in the retail sector is a plus
- Calm under pressure, able to work in multiple projects
- Keen eye for detail and a creative spark
