The Northfield Hotel is located on the outskirts of the beautiful fishing town of Minehead, Somerset. Set within 2 acres of beautifully manicured gardens, this 3* property with 29 bedrooms is open year-round servicing leisure guests, locals and groups alike. We have a fabulously close-knit team who love to work together.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Duty Manager to join our team. This role revolves around ensuring guests feel truly welcomed and cared for during their stay, while also keeping the hotel running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

· Providing attentive and friendly service to guests, always one step ahead to meet their needs.

· Keeping our public spaces immaculate and inviting, creating a sense of luxury.

· Making sure every guest enjoys a consistently exceptional experience.

· Checking rooms before guests arrive, swiftly addressing any issues with our housekeeping and maintenance teams.

· Listening to and resolving any concerns guests may have, ensuring they leave happy and satisfied.

· Working closely with department heads to tackle any operational hiccups before they impact our guests.

· Managing customer feedback to constantly improve our services.

· Handling administrative tasks diligently and efficiently, supporting our General Manager.

· Nurturing and developing our team, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both guests and colleagues alike.

· Leading by example, promoting professionalism and teamwork across all departments.

· Keeping an eye out for ways to enhance our offerings and experiences, always striving for excellence.

Pay: £21,040.00-£22,040.00 per year
