Ability to Commute: Must have access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for commuting to their office located in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.
Working Hours: This role is Full-time, our working hours between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Job Description:
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with a talented team, and enhance your design skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Graphic Design: Assist with creation of visually stunning designs for various marketing materials, including but not limited to print, digital, and social media. This is a varied role with plenty of scope to try different design disciplines.
- Adobe Suite Proficiency: Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create compelling visual content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the senior design team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts as well as collaborate with our in-house content team.
- Portfolio Submission: Interested candidates are required to submit their portfolios showcasing their best design work along with their application. This will be a key factor in the selection process.
About You:
- Graduate with a degree in Graphic Design or similar
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills and creativity
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to the office. Please note public transport is not an option due to the location of the office.
Desirable but not essential skills: An interest in videography, 3D modelling, instructional design or UI/UX.
