Junior Green Roof Estimator

The Junior Green Roof Estimator is a crucial role that supports the sales and construction teams by preparing precise cost estimates for Green Roofing projects. This position is ideal for individuals transitioning from construction roles or recent graduates in construction/civil engineering who are keen to specialise in a growing, environmentally focused sector. In this role, the estimator plays a pivotal part in the project planning process, influencing project feasibility and design decisions, ensuring projects align with sustainability goals whilst maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates by analysing plans and specifications.
Understand contractual terms and conditions.
Assemble accurate and well-organised estimates and proposals in a timely manner for stipulated projects.
Coordinate with project contractors to clarify any issues with scope and materials.
Participate in site visits and project meetings.
Maintain timely and effective communication with clients and internal teams.
Assist in the final preparation of bids.
Experience & Skills Required:
Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or experience as an Assistant Site Supervisor/ Assistant Site Manager.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Package: £24,000 - £28,000 + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Travel Allowance & More
Location: Working from home, travelling to the Kent or Surrey office once per week
