AddressWe are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Industrial Designer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will assist in the design and development of innovative products that align with our company's vision and objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about industrial design and eager to learn and grow within a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and support the senior designers and cross-functional teams to develop products through from concept to manufacture.
- Prepare presentations for internal review and client meetings.
- Assist in conducting market research and trend analysis to inform design decisions.
- Create sketches, renderings, and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks & Keyshot).
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to the design process.
Requirements:
- Degree in Industrial Design or related field.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks and Keyshot) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent concept sketching and visualisation skills.
- Solid understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Portfolio showcasing design projects and process.
- Experience with 3D printing and prototyping techniques.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices in product design.
- Interest in emerging technologies and design trends.
