Junior Infrastructure Engineer

My client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will provide IT consulting services to their clients, assist with the implementation, migration, training, development, and maintenance/upgrades of their Cloud and Data services. This role is fully Remote but must be open to a trip into the Leeds office 1 time a month for team meetings and occasional on call work which is paid overtime. Key Responsibilities:
** Provide technical support and incident management for systems and networks
** Manage Data Centre environments and Cloud Infrastructure
** Ensure all technology is fully secured and operational at all times
** Experience in supporting and managing Windows Server operating systems and infrastructure
** Providing technical support to clients consulting where needed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
** Experience delivering, managing and mentoring other team members
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
** Excellent verbal and written communication skills
** Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
** Proven experience in an IT support role and team
** Must be able to work independently and carry out tasks to completion

Technical Experience/Skills:
** Previous Senior IT Support experience with troubleshooting and maintaining of networks and infrastructures
** Active Directory, Group Policy and Azure AD
** Virtualisation and Virtual Desktop Technologies
** Azure Cloud Technology
** Proficient in VMWare and Veeam Backup Technologies
** WAN/LAN Tech, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP
** Linux and PowerShell experience is advantageous

Role:Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Leeds - REMOTE (1 trip to office in Leeds a month)
Salary: GBP 30,000 - 45,000 DOE
