As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for the manual grinding of components & parts for new Aerospace projects. This will predominantly focus on the final product before its completion, therefore an eye for detail is required. You will ideally use your experience in manual machining to deliver high quality parts to finish impressive new aeroplanes.

What You'll do:
As a Manual Machinist, you will:
- Effectively demonstrate grinding expertise to meet business expectation.
- Use your understanding of manual grinding, surface grinding and further grinding knowledge to deliver best practice.
- Manual turning of predominantly in process parts.
- Be working on final product before completion.
What We're Looking For:
- Ideally an engineering apprenticeship, BTEC, diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with grinding practices.
- Experience with lathe work/turning.
- Ability to showcase technical understanding surrounding manual grinding.
- Good team player and self-motivated to work as an individual.
- High attention to detail.
- Eagerness for career progression.
What else do you need to know?
- Full training is provided at every step.
- The hours for this role are on Days (07:00-15:30 Mon-Thu, 07:00-12:30 Fri). Option for twilight shift.
- Substantial overtime available on evenings and weekends once fully trained.
