We are currently looking for individuals with a flexible approach to join our existing teams as a Junior Multi Skilled Warehouse Operativein Trafford Park where the primary focus is on delivering excellent customer service. You will be required to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering both days 06:00-18:00 and nights 18:00-06:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- You will be responsible for palletised operations, ensuring the routes, production and shift controls are maintained to standard and safely
- Ensuring that the required QFS (quality and food safety) standards are maintained and adhered to by following defined company policies and procedures
- Operating, and maintaining plant equipment to standard using SOPs and SOCs, completing all daily autonomous maintenance (AM) checks as per the area checks
- Ensuring that the required MSS (master sanitation schedule) standards are maintained and adhered to by company policies and procedures
- Completing on-shift handover to ensure clear and concise communication of operations status
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience in machinery maintenance or engineering skills
- Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment around automatization and palletisers
- Understand health and safety issues relating to warehouse environment
- Able to work flexibly and on own initiative
- To have an expectation of high standards in the working environment
- Ability to priorities business requirements
- A current FLT licence, previous experience of working to performance targets and machine maintenance skills would be advantageous
