Shovel Loader Operator

Our client are one of the largest independent waste management companies in the UK. We are looking for someone to join the team as a Loading Shovel Operator, based at Gorton area ( City centre).

The role

The role will involve you driving a Wheeled Loading Shovel, so you must have prior experience of operating this type of plant.

Although we do not require any specific qualifications a valid external license is desirable. Where investment for an in-house operator’s license is required, this will reflect in the rate of pay.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out manual picking duties (waste segregation) as and when required.
