The Business Operations department provides operational support to the Global Commercial sales teams and provides the critical link between sales, finance and customer support. This role will primarily revolve around the sales order process with responsibilities for new and renewing business, ensuring accurate records are maintained to capture data on company wide sales to support accurate reporting and analysis.
The team works closely with many other departments to ensure all activities are in line with contractual, operational, legal and financial guidelines and policies. Sales enablement and training are key to the department’s success as we strive to continuously improve and simplify the sales process. This is a position for a 1-year fixed-term employment contract.
Job Overview:Key Responsibilities
- Partner with global sales and renewal teams to facilitate the order process.
- Build and maintain strong cross functional relationships with key departments including Sales, Legal and Finance.
- Review orders and supporting documentation submitted for processing, check for completeness and clarify any issues, update CRM system accordingly.
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of corporate data.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, escalating where necessary to line manager.
- Review and update CRM system with all contractual and deal related information.
- Prepare and distribute reporting to various departments and levels of organization.
- Assess and advise current sales and business practices to provide innovative approaches for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
