YOU WILL...

As the HR Business Partner ("HRBP") you will report into the HR Director and act as the trusted advisor to a mix of brand and functional teams. As part of your role you will be able to quickly build strong relationships with internal leaders, managers & employees and develop and deliver impactful people plans for your functional areas in partnership with your leaders. You will be agile and solutions focused. You will ensure compliance with HR processes and practices in consultation with managers, and ensure legal security at both individual and collective levels. You will be accountable for your HR KPIs and will strengthen and promote L’Oréal's image, as well as its diversity, by ensuring respect for the Group's values and code of ethics.

In accordance with the HR Frame, your mission will be as follows:

People First

  • Partner with leaders and line managers to develop and deliver clear people plans for their functions, providing HR support and guidance when needed, anticipating and flagging any risks
  • Proactively succession plan with senior leaders and line managers to drive progression opportunities for internal talents and pipeline and recruit any skills gaps externally. Structure regular people reviews with your stakeholders at country and Zone levels.
  • Attract, grow and develop leaders of the future, building out compelling career journeys and career transparency to motivate, develop and retain individuals
  • Lead and manage employee relations cases in your area, supporting managers with practical advice and guidance in line with current legislation
  • In partnership with Reward, ensure fair and transparent reward policy and practices; lead pay reviews for your populations; support line managers with decisions for promotions & changes; work with the HR Shared Service team to ensure Divisional data is accurate and up to date.
  • Lead headcount and salary costs for your populations, supporting the HRD across the total division and in close collaboration with HR Cost Controlling and Finance stakeholders
  • Support managers across all elements of the employee life cycle, partnering with our centres of excellence (Talent Acquisition, Reward, Learning & HR Operations).
  • Support and drive company initiatives to support wellbeing and empower employees
  • Own data management for your direct scope, be able to leverage data analytics to drive the HR and business strategic frames

Shape the Future

  • Co-lead change management and organisational design from end-to-end. Partner with the leaders and senior managers in your population to continue to future-proof your functional areas, anticipating and managing any change elements
  • Foster a learning culture to build the skills of tomorrow, partnering with your leaders and the UKI Learning Team
  • Provide feedback and coaching to the leaders and managers in your populations, building strong people managers and empowering them in their leadership and management roles
  • Monitor Pulse employee engagement survey results and develop solution-focused action plans with leaders in your area, supporting the divisional pulse action plan.

YOU HAVE...

  • Strong HR generalist experience including managing complex ER.
  • Excellent Business Partnering experience, ideally to Executive level.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning in delivered people related projects.
  • Relevant experience in an FMCG or Matrix environment desirable.
  • Previous experience of recruitment and selection with a good understanding of the importance of D&I.
  • Ability to coach and develop client base, building organisational and people capability
  • Previous experience of change management and organisational design.
  • Brilliant communication and practised influencing skills with experience of building relationships across and at all levels of an organisation.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to make the complex simple.
  • Solutions orientated mindset with the ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity.
  • Confidentiality and integrity.
  • Ability to analyse data, draw accurate conclusions and communicate key messages succinctly.

- Strong planning and organisation skills - with an ability to appropriately re-prioritise and change as required to meet deadlines.

  • Team spirit, commitment and strong work ethic.
  • Is risk aware and builds contingency into plans.
  • Good IT skills with knowledge of MS Office.
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent desirable, but not essential
