Salary range: £62,748 - £66,156 p.a. inc. London weighting
Contract: Permanent 
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time

The Post
You will take the lead in designing, developing, and delivering workforce equity, diversity, and inclusion into the council. You will join us as we embark on an ambitious change programme that aims to create a workforce that reflects the communities we serve and a culture where diversity is a key strength in the organisation
The Person
You will be passionate about this area of work and lead with gravitas. You will be able to build credible relationships and use your influencing skills to build on the equality work undertaken to date and gain the buy in of staff and managers.  
As a strong leader and subject matter expert, you will have previous demonstrable experience of delivering impactful initiatives and driving positive change.  Whilst we are proud of all the good work we have undertaken to date; we know we still have a long way to go.
