As part of this, our HR department are reintroducingaBusiness Partnering capability to the team, following the appointment of a hugely talented, HR Director for Business Partnering who this role will report into. We are looking an experienced HR Business Partners who will provide a customer centric and effective HR service to all our corporate teams globally.
We haven’t had the HR Business Partner role at Domestic & General for a few years, so the key stakeholders are extremely engaged and are keen for the support – we expect these to be busy and varied roles as a result! The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, pragmatic, and be able to quickly understand the landscape; offering commercially focussed solutions to help the business both now and in the future.
As well as introducing HRBPs, we are implementing a new Global HCM system, so being able to coach and take people on the journey is key to embedding the system for our teams. You will instinctively use HR data and insights available to support your ability to influence your stakeholders and drive and measure impactful plans.
Skills and experience required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication;
- Previous experience partnering with corporate teams globally that has a proven track record helping them achieve their objectives
- Strategic thinker with the ability to lead change within the business and detailed focus when required
- Able to work autonomously, at times with ambiguity
- Pragmatism, with exceptional problem solving skills and without ego providing appropriate counsel and influence.
- Able to pivot in a dynamic or unstructured environment to deliver
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Understanding of regulated working environment
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, constructively challenging others’ views through feedback where appropriate
- Demonstrated change maker, competent deploying progressive initiatives with international HR best practise in mind
- Curious with knowledge of interpreting, advising and implementing Global HR policies and procedures as well as leading projects and implementing new initiatives
