Junior Project Manager

Evolito’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric propulsion in aerospace applications in support of a net-zero world. We will help to revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free air transportation.

Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation.

As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.

As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join the team to provide end-to-end support for internal projects and ensure all project work is signed off by key stakeholders, any issues are resolved, and all feedback is noted to ensure continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting both small- and large-scale projects
• Coordinating, planning and managing special builds and trials, helping to move the build quickly through various processes
• Structuring projects and devising processes that ensure efficiency within projects
• Engaging with core teams to understand their progress with task management and gateway process
• Generating clear and succinct project reports including KPIs
• Presenting work to stakeholders for sign-off
• Supporting team members to maximise productivity
• Generating and maintaining project plans and deliverables to help ensure build readiness
• Roadblock removal for critical builds
• Chasing internal teams for urgent responses to customer queries
• Support of urgent/ad hoc testing and containment action implementation
• Change request close out and tracking of implementation
• Providing daily feedback from production meetings.

Skills and experience required:

• Degree level qualification within an Engineering discipline
• A proven track record of project delivery and ability to complete tasks
• Previous, proven project management experience
• A hands-on approach to drive results
• The ability to meet deadlines
• Flexibility to manage multiple tasks with multiple internal customers in a timely manner
• An understanding of both technical and customer-driven processes
• Good IT skills including Word and PowerPoint, experience with MS Project would be beneficial
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A positive attitude towards work
• Ability to work proactively under own initiative
• A flexible approach to work
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be preferable.
