What you’ll be doing
- Set out line and level of all RC concrete works
- Overseeing building work and undertaking site surveys
- Monitor Quality control alongside site QA team
- Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure they are followed correctly on site
- Monitor day to day construction for accuracy to project specification and drawings
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
- Ensure setting out information is conveyed to the workforce and correctly implemented
- Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork – as and when required
- Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to
- Developing CAD/ design drawings for the clients and asset owners

What we’re looking for
- Engineering or Construction related degree/certificate or higher education
- CSCS Card
- Demonstrated experience as a Setting Out Engineer
