The Junior Shopper Marketing Manager is based at our UK Consumer Brands Group Head Office in Wokingham, Reading.
This position is ideal for a recent graduate with a few years experience within marketing. This is a great opportunity to develop a brand marketing career and be involved with multiple campaigns and events and own projects, driving brand awareness within one of the largest paint and paint coatings companies in the world.
The role requires onsite at our office 3 days a week and 2 days working from home.
Project status and timing
Highly organised and analytical this role must be the go-to person across the business for status of POS, MA and training kit projects and timelines and can answer queries across all channels. Works closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure excellent communication and alignment of activity and that plans are communicated and delivered on time. Responsible for the full print process from signing off quotes internally to ensuring artwork delivery, through to final store delivery.
Print and distribution relationships
Excellent relationships with vendors for order tracking and control of all operational elements i.e. orders, deliveries, invoicing etc for POS MA and training kit projects. Works closely with procurement team to assess vendor performance and ensure best supply to SW.
POS expertise and understanding
Actively builds knowledge of POS executions – types, materials, quantities and vendors etc. to be able to act as an internal consultant around the feasibility of ideas and innovations. Using close relationships with vendors is efficiently able to get guidelines quotes to contribute to innovative thinking and projects.
Customer Focus
Gathers information and insight from channels, retailers and general shopper insights to support Shopper Marketing Manager and wider team in delivering first class POS, MA and training kit solutions to retail customers to drive business. Develops contacts and partnerships/relationships within key customers to aid acceptance and implementation of our activity and plans.
Stock management and forecasting
Ensures that suitable POS, training kit and MA levels are maintained and rolling POS equipment is reviewed and de-listed or renewed in line with business needs. Uses relevant systems to run and share reports to ensure communication of stock levels and to understand and execute action that needs to be taken.
- Marketing degree
- 2+ years of FMCG or retail POS development role ideally or recently completed graduate scheme/placement
