Mimi’s is a modern European two AA rosette restaurant in Weybridge. We are looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our team and strive for further awards .

As Sous Chef you will:
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in creating menu ideas, recipes and developing dishes
- Manage stock control, ordering and cost management within a dedicated section under guidance from the Sous Chef and Head Chef
- Prepare, cook and present high quality dishes
- Assist management with H&S and food hygiene practices
- Work with the Sous Chef to maintain kitchen organisation and training opportunities, particularly assisting with the training of any Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs
- Monitor portion and waste control
What we're looking for:
- One year Junior Sous experience
- Appropriate qualifications and food safety certifications
- Previous experience within a restaurant or fine dining pub
- Conversational level of English verbal and written
- Reliability and punctuality
- Knowledge of current food trends with an ability to bring this knowledge to the customer dining experience
- Strong positive attitude
- Passion for seasonable fresh food
- Highly organised in the kitchen on a day-to-day basis
- Enthusiasm to develop skills
