Junior Surveyor

Are you a recent college/university leaver? Would you like to become a Surveyor? If so, then this busy multi-disciplined design agency in the Colchester area will want to hear from you.

They are looking for a Junior Surveyor to work on both large and small projects using 3D laser scanning equipment. This will involve working away from home depending on client site location and could be from 1-4 days at a time. Full training will be given to candidates who show a positive attitude, are flexible regarding travel and who have their own transport.

Duties

• Working under the guidance of a senior level Surveyor
• Attend client sites to perform 3D laser scanning
• Conduct measured building/retail surveys to produce floor plans, elevations and sections
• Utilise Revit/BIM
• Complete registration and processing of Pointcloud
• Liaise with clients both on site and in office
• Schedule works, arranging travel and accommodation

Skills & Experience

• Full training will be given for candidates showing a good level of communication skills and an excellent work ethic.
• Must be willing to travel UK wide and occasionally abroad staying away from home a few days per week.
• An understanding of building construction would be beneficial
• Knowledge of surveying and laser scanning equipment would be an asset but not essential
• Own transport is a must due to company location
• A current passport will be required
