At Saint Gobain Abrasive we are looking for a Key Account Executiveto manage Key Accounts within trade and decorative services. You will be responsible for developing sustainable and long standing relationships with existing accounts as well as bringing on and driving new business. This is a new role in which the successful candidate will be able to have a genuine impact on the business.

This is a remote role with travel throughout the UK, candidates will ideally be based in the Midlands area but we are open to other locations.

What we're looking for:

  • Someone who is proactive and customer focused
  • A proven track record in sales, ideally within a similar industry but we are also open to other backgrounds
  • Experience selling to buying groups would be highly advantageous
  • Happy working remotely but also as part of a team

What you will be doing:

  • Managing a number of existing Key Accounts within the trade and decorative services markets,
  • Deliver sustainable, profitable growth and build sustainable long term trading relationships
  • Increase customer knowledge / awareness of Saint Gobain Abrasives solutions through visits to distributors, merchants, contractors and other key decision makers
  • Clear understanding of market drivers, trend, influences, and advising and shaping the business strategy.
  • Builds rewarding partnerships with UK buying groups and National Builders Merchants
  • Ensure CRM and other systems are updated
  • Work closely with other internal teams to ensure the best service possible for our customers.
