The Client
Our client is a Dynamic Branded food player within the UK market, their offering is both sophisticated and premium in nature and subsequently has become a real product of choice for many discerning consumers. Operating within a matrix led divisional Company structure has meant that their product offering is highly extensive whilst offering Brands with providence and National/Regional heritage to boot. Having experienced strong results, they are now seeking to appoint a Key Account Manager in order to champion their future growth plans across Foodservice & OOH.
The Role
As the Key Account Manager your remit will be to strategically manage Key Customers whilst ensuring commercial opportunities are fully maximised in the short-medium term. By working with the current team of National Account Managers you will operate on regional basis in effort to be the champion of securing sustained growth within the Independent channel. Not for the faint hearted you will be at ease dealing with key Decision Makers within the Channel and subsequently expanding the product range to such a degree of success that customers will be keen to progress the relationship to “category leading” status.
Candidate Requirements
Relevant Candidates must have a strong track record within Foodservice related channels on a Regional Basis or Key Accounts; and will relish the opportunity to push themselves outside of their comfort zone. Whilst Foodservice FMCG New Business exposure is ideal, the client is open to real high flyers who have experience of closely related channels such as Cash & Carry / Wholesale etc.
