Key Account Manager HIV – South East – ViiV Healthcare

Job Purpose
The HIV Treatment Key Account Manager is a critical role for ViiV UK specifically responsible for leading the strategic approach across key target accounts to deliver uptake of our promoted medicines. Working closely with the cross functional Territory and Brand Team, they will have several core elements to their role, outlined below.
Accountable for generating appropriate use of ViiV licensed assets in hospitals/centres by providing Health Care Professionals (HCPs) with highly credible and engaging interactions on our promoted medicines.
Accountable for the development and maintenance of strategic account plans to support the appropriate use of our medicines, working with other field colleagues in line with ways of working guidelines.
Act as the focal point of contact within the accounts overall, introducing other cross functional team members to the local clinical and payer customers as appropriate (e.g.: Medical off label reactive requests) and ensuring overall ViiV coordination for a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as HIV Treatment Key Account Manager (for a specific medicine/s) for ViiV UK.
Utilising business acumen to analyse insights, sales data and market research and set strategic direction in accounts.
Monitoring performance through structured review and course correct account strategy accordingly.
Taking the guidance from Brand specific National action plans and campaigns to develop a clear and comprehensive territory account management plan with mapping of target HCPs, detailed objectives and KPI measures of success.
Delivering omnichannel approach to implement plans across face-to-face, digital, and multimedia touchpoints.
Delivering against broad scope of performance objectives, KPI’s and account plans with an agreed budget.
Commercially focused sales conversations, to include clinical and access, delivered in a highly qualified and engaging manner using clinical and access materials provided. Customers to include Professors, Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Pharmacists.
Achieving market access to enable Hospital/centre usage.
Work closely with all internal stakeholders as part of the Key Account management process to ensure a seamless customer interface - to include multiskilled team colleagues and Key Account Managers responsible for other ViiV products working in the same accounts.
Developing advocacy at a local level and mobilizing HCP’s. Working closely with the External Expert Engagement Manager to support the national advocacy plan.
Leading coordination of cross functional omnichannel activities (F2F supported by digital basics and multiple touchpoints e.g. emails, P2P) in the hospital/centre.
Support the implementation of pilot projects and the cascade of best practice.
Operating and delivering commercial objectives in line with ViiV values and compliance framework.
Provide Budget Impact Modelling, Value Story and Value Proposition for core in-market products.
Proactively address any queries and issues around implementation of products and service provision/ capabilities of treatment centres.
Gather insights on barriers to access, system issues and needs to support future service provision by ViiV.

Degree in life science or similar OR equivalent experience
Proven ability to interact with customers

Demonstration of excellent NHS knowledge and understanding

Preferred Qualifications
HIV experience desirable

ABPI qualified
