Key Account Manager - Road Freight - £ - DOE
My client is looking to appoint an experienced Key Account Manager who has UK & EU Road Freight experience to join their team.
Company
They are a privately owned logistics and supply chain, small but experienced team all share a passion for securing and delivering their customers shipments across the UK and Europe. They offer both premium and standard delivery forwarding services while providing excellent customer service.
Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, coordinating shipments, ensuring timely delivery, managing inquiries and claims, and providing excellent customer service. The Account Manager will also be required to be a team player and someone who has industry knowledge and contacts, they will work closely with the sales team to achieve revenue goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
* UK & EU Road Freight experience required
* Attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience working with logistics management software
* Previous experience in account management, customer service, and logistics is preferred
* Ability to speak multiple languages (especially German, Polish, and Russian) would be an advantage
