Your Responsibilities
- To manage Key Accounts within the veterinary channel, including Corporates, Buying Groups and Wholesalers
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders within the Key Account customer base
- Ownership and management of customer negotiations and associated trading terms
- Deliver Key Account commercial business plans and rive profitable growth
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Technical and other key functions internally to create activation and promotional plans for key customers
- Utilise ongoing data analysis in order to understand your category and unlock sales opportunities
- Create and develop (where appropriate) joint business plans that will deliver against the company’s objectives
- Working in conjunction with the Veterinary Sales Team and Marketing in order to drive activation and growth within the customer base
- Provide forecasts and ongoing sales analysis, both internally and externally
- Evaluate ROI from promotional activities within accounts and help implement effective marketing and promotional plans
- Leverage customer relationships to support the development and growth of B2B2C initiatives where appropriate
- Plan and support at key national sales shows/ events in collaboration within Marketing
- Deliver training via a mix of face to face, online and event based seminars
- Becoming an expert on the category that the company operate in
- Open to a home based role with travel
- Minimum 3 + years’ KAM experience is preferred (or demonstrable knowledge of equivalent sales experience)
- Experience within Veterinary channel is preferred, as is experience of working with/ for corporate customers
- Degree level or equivalent qualification
- Strong commercial skills and ability to document P&L
- Excellent commercial acumen and proven new business hunter
- Excellent IT, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills
- Excellent presentation, attention to detail and communication skills
- Proven track record of sales and account management, preferably within the Veterinary Channel
- Demonstrate ability to self- motivate and manage multiple priorities
