Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established yet vastly expanding material handling manufacturer looking to recruit a new Key Account Service Manager to manage their service accounts across the East Midlands and nationally. With a competitive basic salary, this is a great opportunity for an experienced material handling professional, with a service background, looking for a new role with a key focus on large account business development.
Responsibilities
· Managing the service requirements of a number of Key Accounts across the East Midlands in supply of material handling equipment maintenance
· Working side by side with the Key Account Managers and the Regional Service Managers to ensure upkeep of customers’ service requirements
· Maintaining existing accounts and developing them where possible
· Reporting to the Depot Director for the region
· Attending numerous conferences and networking events
Requirements
The company are ideally looking for an individual with experience of service management and overseeing accounts within the Material Handling industry. The company will also be open to candidates in similar roles within a closely related industry such as commercial vehicles, plant hire or similar. It is vital that you have had exposure to managing large customer accounts and are able to work autonomously. In terms of location, you will need to be based in the UK and the company have a preference for candidates based in the East Midlands but would consider candidates nearby with the right experience. You will need to hold a full, clean driver’s license.
