We have a unique opportunity for a KIA Sales Manager to join our team based at our expanding Startin Kia Redditch Dealership. You will have previous motor trade experience, within a Sales Manager role with a proven track record of achieving demanding sales targets. Ideally, you will have an outstanding work ethic and be able to lead from the front and inspire your colleagues to 'raise the bar' and exceed their full potential whilst driving the finance and add-on performance forward.

Reporting to the Head of Business, the Sales Manager is fully responsible for the whole Sales Department for the KIA Brand. This is a role where leadership, training, organisational and management skills of a high calibre are extremely important. Underpinning the wider Sales Department through their robust management process and leadership skills. Their role is to provide a competent, effective and skilled management of a New Car Sales & Used Car Sales business, along with managing the Finance element of the department. The Sales Manager is required to maintain a profitable and successful sales department in line with brand standard KPI’s, ensuring their team is effectively trained and meeting their respective targets and KPI’s. You must be pro-active, organised and efficient to successfully support what is effectively your section of the overall business. You must have a passion for sales and customer satisfaction is key. Have the ability to engage with customers and build a rapport. Be well presented with a desire to succeed.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Meet New Cars budget targets

· Meet Used Car budget targets

· Used Car Stock Management physically and virtually maintaining industry standard KPI’s for stock turn and Return on Investment

· Used Car Buying through approved sources to maintain required stock levels

· Effectively maintain New & Used Car stock holdings both physically & virtually

· Meet Customer Retention & Finance Renewals targets

· Sales Team process control and training

· Effective Management of the Dealerweb Sales CRM & Diary system

· Maintain effective cost management in line with industry KPI’s

· Maintain & Improve Customer Satisfaction levels in line with group standards

· Keep department compliant with Franchise standards

· Sales Team coaching and training as required

· Run effective sales marketing campaigns alongside the Marketing Team

· Manage Customer Expectations

· Built relationships with Franchise Sales Field Team

· Achieve budgeted department and PPU targets for both New & Used Cars

· Effectively Manage their Online Showroom & Physical Showroom offerings to maintain competitiveness in the market.

· Benchmark competitors to grow their Sales Department Business.

Working 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, with a day off during the week for working Saturdays.
