We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Kilns Operative within our Operations Team.

In a nutshell, you will be responsible for:

Setting and striping kilns with hand-crafted luxury Shaw’s sinks, to move sinks from spraying to kilns and good sinks to packing. being proactive and eliminating operational-related faults.

What you are already great at:

• Setting / Stripping Clay and reset sinks as per SOP.
• Hoovering and rubbing down sinks and carts as per SOP.
• Completing paperwork correctly (Buller ring sheet, waste / good sink sheet)
• Inspecting sinks in spray shed before taking them to kilns.
• Being willing to undertake training to develop in role and improve performance across other departments.
• Adhering to health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines always.
• Ensuring correct PPE is always worn.
• Always follow SOP standards as trained.
• Striving to do your best to achieve targets set for your area.
• Ensuring that housekeeping standards are always met through regular cleaning of the area.
• Communicating any material defects, unsafe practices, or equipment to the Departmental team Leader.
• Understanding the process, they are responsible for, and the impact of its failures.
• Being willing to undertake training to develop in role and improve performance across other departments.

For this role we would need you to demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a similar role and happiest in a fast paced environment
