Kitchen Assistant

Kitchen Assistant - Competitive pay rate of £11.50 per hour 

Part Time - up to 25 hours per week (to include alternate weekends)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Elizabeth House, our specialist residential and dementia care home, which overlooks the picturesque Canford Heath Nature Reserve in Poole, Dorset.

What you will be doing:

• Support the Chef team with the basic preparation of fresh and nutritious meals, snacks and drinks for our residents
• Assist with supporting residents with an enjoyable dining experience every day - with meals served to our Dining Rooms and Residents Rooms
• Ensuring kitchen and dining room areas are kept hygienic and clean
• Washing all cooking appliances and crockery – sanitising all food preparation areas

Who are we looking for:

Previous experience within a kitchen environment is not essential but be prepared to be busy in a fast-paced role.

Caring individual with the ability to support our residents during mealtimes.

Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of our larger kitchen team.
