Ramsay’s Fine Foods is a local family run business providing a ‘meals on wheels’ type service for days when you need a little help in the kitchen

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary operations by assisting with meal assembly and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in the restaurant or catering industry.

Responsibilities:

- Help with meal assembly and plating under the guidance of the chef or kitchen supervisor

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area

- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper storage of perishable items

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food safety practices is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

WORKING HOURS

Monday 11am - 4pm

Tuesday 11am - 3pm

Wednesday 10am - 4pm

Thursday 11am - 3pm

Friday 11am - 4pm

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
