Kitchen Assistant (Part time) – Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Location: Byron House Care Home, 141- 143 Wendover Road, Aylesbury, HP21 9LP

Hourly rate: £10.50 per hour

Hours: 16 hours per week

Shifts: 10:30am to 7pm, with a 30 minute break, working days to be discussed at interview

About the role:

• Prepare meals
• Assist with the cleaning of serveries and kitchens on a daily basis
• Collect and distribute crockery
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment
• Carry out any reasonable request or instruction from the Home Manager or Head Cook

About you:

• The right to live and work in the UK (please note, sponsorship is not available)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a team, a caring nature and a positive attitude 
• An understanding of Health and Safety, Infection Control and COSHH
• Previous experience of working in a similar position is desirable but not essential
