Kitchen Designer

Simon Acres Recruitment are excited to be working with a well-established kitchen manufacturer who are seeking a Kitchen Designer based in Orkney.

This is a permanent position paying up to £28,000 basic, plus bonus.

Hours: 44 / Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Saturday, 8am-12pm.

The Role:

• Designing Kitchens using CAD software (Planit).
• Meeting personal KPI’s.
• Dealing with prospective and existing clients in person and via telephone.
• Converting leads into sales and achieving sales targets.
• Producing quotes taking into account customer design constraints.
• Site survey visits to measure up and gather relevant information.
• Understanding the customers brief and turning into reality, exceeding all expectations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Kitchen Design experience (not essential as full training will be provided)
• Must have a strong and proven track record of sales.
• Experience in using CAD software (advantageous).
• Self-motivated, ambitious and driven.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• High attention to detail, professional with an excellent sales acumen.
• Full driving license with own car is essential to be able to carry out customer visits.
