The Catering Team are involved in every area of the charity. Not only providing the very best meals to our patients and their families, but also the staff and volunteers who give the care and support. It doesn’t end there, our fundraising team put on events that need a broad spectrum of catering.
As Kitchen Porter your role will be to undertake a range of cleaning and catering activities e.g. basic food preparation, cleaning and washing up, etc. that complies with all food hygiene requirements for staff, patients and visitors to St Michael’s Hospice.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our Catering Team. We are looking for someone with a knowledge of COSHH and HACCP as well as an awareness to Allergens. Ideally you will have previous experience in a catering establishment and knowledge of Health and Safety, Manual Handling and Trading Standards.
So if you are a friendly, enthusiastic person with previous experience and a desire to strive for customer satisfaction, this could be the position for you.
