Fig and Thistle is one of the highest rated restaurants in Inverness. We have a fantastic team and due to now opening 7 days a week, we have a position for a Kitchen Porter opening working Sunday and Monday 10:30am till close. Plus covering Holidays.

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team. The Kitchen Porter will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, supporting the culinary team in food preparation, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. **Duties:** - Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils - Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of the culinary team - Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas - Dispose of waste following proper procedures - Support chefs and cooks during service by ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils - Adhere to health and safety standards at all times **Skills:** - Experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred - Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff - Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects If you are passionate about working in a dynamic kitchen environment and have a desire to contribute to a successful culinary team, we welcome your application.
