Salary £38,205 to £46,974 per annum (£22,923 to £28,184 pro rata)

The Team
The role holder will work within the Business Development Office which oversees the Universities Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Knowledge Transfer and Apprenticeship provision. They will be part of a dynamic and passionate team who are committed to finding practical solutions to enable continued personal and professional development, increased business profitability and innovative ways to drive the local knowledge economy.
The role
This exciting, fast paced and collaborative role will lead a small team of Business Development Coordinators to grow and diversify the University's Continuing Professional Development portfolio, through proactively identifying new training opportunities and leading on all aspects of operations related to delivery of courses and programmes. The role holder will lead on nurturing critical business relationships and partnerships to drive forward the Universities Knowledge Exchange plan, leading the entire process from idea through to delivery stage. The post holder will be required to manage multiple fast paced projects simultaneously, whilst building excellent working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. This exciting role will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to develop and implement new systems and processes which ensure efficient turnaround of high-quality projects to meet departmental targets and KPI's.
Required skills and experience
The role holder will need to have extensive experience in data collection and analysis, as well as report writing for a range of audiences. They will be a confident communicator with excellent negotiation and influencing skills in order to meet high value income generation targets. The role holder will also need to have experience of managing both projects and teams, and ideally will have worked in a HE institution previously.

It is anticipated that the selection process will include an interview and presentation. This will be carried out face to face at the University. Further details will be provided if you are shortlisted for interview.
