Axcis Education have a vacancy for a
KS3/4Science Teacher at a well respected secondary school in Glossop. The role is delivering science lessons across KS3 and 4 to pupils ages 11-16 years old. These lessons will be implemented with mixed ability students across a full time timetable. The role is Monday - Friday, term time only with working hours 08:30-16:00. The role is due to start ASAP and is currently running until July 2024 however, for the right candidate, this may be extended. The daily pay rate is £130-200 a day dependent upon qualifications/experiences.The school is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Glossop and has been rated 'good' by Ofsted in their recent inspection. The school provides warm and caring community for all students and are recognised locally for their dedication in providing an environment where all young people thrive.The ideal candidate must have experience teaching science at secondary level. We will consider candidates with overseas education based experience. We would also consider overseas qualified candidates. Whilst you do not need QTS, you MUST have PGCE. Please note - any qualifications need to be evidenced. You must have a child and adult DBS registered on the update service. If you are an overseas candidate and have been out of the UK for 6 months or more within the last 5 years, please be aware, we do require a police check from that country.
