Role Description
For this position you will be responsible for carrying out various tests on aggregate, soils & concrete. The role includes preparing samples, conducting tests using laboratory equipment, maintaining laboratory equipment and quality control. This is a full-time on-site role at their location in Thamesmead, London. If site sampling is needed this would also be expected, van will be provided if site visit is required.
Skills
- Laboratory Skills: The candidate should have very good laboratory skills and be able to understand laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Quality Control: The candidate should have an understanding of quality control processes and be able to apply them to laboratory tests and procedures.
- Analytical Skills: The candidate should have strong analytical skills and be able to interpret test data accurately.
- Laboratory Technicians: The candidate should have knowledge of laboratory testing and procedures and experience working as a laboratory technician.
- Experience with aggregate, soils & concrete testing and quality control.
- Comfortable working with technical software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving license
- CSCS Card
Shift - 7:30am - 5:30pm
Holidays - 21 days paid + bank holidays
