This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housing Management Professional to join our Housing Services team.  We are currently recruiting to the role of Landlord Services Manager.  We are looking for a confident, people-focused individual who is passionate about delivering housing services to our tenants.  

You will bring your knowledge and experience of managing a housing team with a focus on anti-social behaviour and all other forms of tenancy and estate management, including the collection of rent arrears, tenant support and tenant engagement.  You will work closely with the Assistant Director – Social Housing & Community Safety, to develop the service through improved policies and processes whilst helping to support and achieve the Council’s objectives and to ensure we are complaint with the Regulator of Social Housing requirements.

You will lead and develop a team of officers to provide a professional housing management service which strives to promote service excellence in addition to developing individual and team potential.

You will participate in or lead project work to improve service delivery and will monitor performance to ensure that staff are meeting their objectives and that work is being prioritised accordingly.

You must have sound knowledge and understanding or current legislation and good practice and remain up to date and be aware of relevant changes in legislation, case law, criminal justice, statutory guidance and policy.

We are seeking a proactive and committed individual with strong interpersonal skills.  This is a busy and varied role, so you must be able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.  Experience of managing teams is essential.

You need to be flexible, proactive and enthusiastic and have great communication and influencing skills.
