• GBP28,000 - GBP30,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits

The demand for a GreenArt garden continues to grow, so we re looking for committed team players who have an eye for detail as well as the ability to stand back and see the big picture.

In particular you will:

• Mark out the site alongside your Team Leader, set levels, prepare bases, foundations and footings using an excavator where appropriate.
• Install drainage, soakaways and rainwater harvesting systems as part of general groundwork and site preparation.
• Lay Limestone, Sandstone, Slate, Porcelain and Yorkstone paving slabs, block paving, stone and granite setts.
• Build concrete block-backed, reinforced brick, slate and stone-faced walls as part of outdoor kitchens, ponds, boundaries and retaining structures.
• Construct decks, bridges, pergolas, gazebos and all types of fencing.
• Assist with the excavation of, construction, lining and dressing of wildlife and formal ponds.
• Improve the condition of soil, prepare the ground for and lay turf, rotovate and prepare beds for planting.
• Plant trees, shrubs, climbers and perennials according to planting schemes to encourage the growth of healthy plants.
• Assist in the installation of pop-up and drip line irrigation systems.
• Use a range of machinery including 360 excavator, skip loader, tractor, wacker plate, rotovator, grinder, disc cutter and circular saw, and others as required.

You will be an experienced hard and soft landscaper with evidence of at least two years of skilled work across all types of projects and the relevant tools and equipment. The role will not only see you getting hands-on, but also using your experience and vision to help solve planning and logistical challenges with projects.

You must be able to work to tight deadlines with great attention to detail, and partner closely with the wider team around you.
