What does your typical day look like?
To provide lockers (personal & laundry) and clean overalls to all employees and visitors. To run the staff shop.
Other key actions will be but not limited to:
- Manage the overall locker keys to employees and maintain a record of locker usage
- Manage the stock effectively ensuring that there is a constant & adequate supply of stock to meet site requirements
- Issue work wear to employees and factory visitors in a timely manner
- Empty lockers as necessary and issue to new employees
- Despatch uniforms for Laundry and repair as required
- Serve customers in staff shop & use cash register
- Stock and stack shelves in shop & restock vending facilities as required
- Request stock for shop through Finance as and when required
- Keep shop area clean and maintain of Health and Safety standards.
- Carry out general administrative duties as required
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
Qualifications:
- Good standard of education (numeracy and literacy) either GCSE English & Maths (Grade A-C)/equivalent qualifications/equivalent experience
- Food Safety Level 3 (Desirable)
- HACCP Level 3 (Desirable)
Experience:
• Previous retail experience (Desirable)
• Have a good telephone and face to face manner for dealing with external suppliers and employees
• Flexible approach
• Good people skills
• Good computer skills
• Attendance record within criteria of 3% essential to be selected for interview
• Influencing and negotiating skills
• Experience of working in a similar role
