An exciting opportunity has arisen for an L&D and Systems Manager to join an established specialist agency in the Tech market. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building and shaping the Learning & Development (L&D) function from the ground up within a thriving and growing global company. The successful candidate will own the L&D function, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic aims and delivering training to support a high-performance culture. Additionally, this role will lead the IT function, enhancing the business’s performance through effective use of technology.
Job Description:
- Introduce process, structure, strategy, and a common reporting/KPI setup to be used business-wide.
- Develop comprehensive learning programmes for all levels within the organisation, including academies for experienced recruiters and new managers.
- Foster a culture of learning and development from the top down, becoming instrumental in establishing a common ground for the business.
- Deliver various forms of training and coaching, including classroom coaching, desk-side support, one-to-one sessions, and lunch & learns.
- Support the business’s future hiring approach and influence the technological platforms used to enhance recruiters’ abilities.
- Work with senior management to identify skills gaps and develop skills-based assessments to create a level playing field within the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Recruitment experience within the tech sector is essential.
- Proven experience in creating and growing an L&D function from inception.
- Skilled trainer, coach, and mentor, adept at employing multiple learning techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to make strategic decisions and influence at a senior level.
- Direct reporting experience to CEO and CFO is advantageous.
