In addition, they will need to have an understanding of the QFP Training & Competence Scheme for advisers, an understanding of the Level 2 (Pre-Appointment) and Level 3 (Attaining Competence) support given to advisers, plus an understanding of the QFA proposition.

It will be desirable for the successful candidate to have the appropriate examination for Financial Services, Regulations and Ethics (such as R01 or FSRE), however, if they do not then this must be attained once in role.
This is a technology and systems-based role and as such you should be fully comfortable embracing and harnessing both Quilter advice-based technology and authorised social media platforms.
You should be able to demonstrate that you have a good understanding of how to use and utilise technology solutions. It is important that you can demonstrate how to progress advice through the relevant systems. A key part of the role will be coaching others on how to navigate and use the systems in the most effective way, through screen sharing and other methods.
You will be expected to help advisers set up on social media (LinkedIn/Facebook/Instagram) and to this end you should fully understand how these social media platforms work.
You should be fully conversant with the full suite of MS Office including Teams and Outlook.
If you are an internal candidate, then we expect you to understand at least one QFP advice system such as Xplan, Quilter Investment Platform, and/or Dynamic Planner, to a level where you are able to demonstrate its use competently to an adviser.
If you are an external candidate, then we will need you to competently demonstrate your level of understanding with equivalent systems.
It is highly desirable that you have an understanding of giving financial advice and what this involves.
The administrative side of this role will include accurate record keeping of the multiple support that has been provided to each Adviser, and to be able to demonstrate their successful progression through the Quilter Academy.
