Lead Business Analyst – Hybrid

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is a hybrid position, with 2-3 days on-site each week.

Leading a team of Business Analysts, you will deliver a Business Analysis Service that supports, challenges and delivers the needs of the Group and their customers.

Lead Business Analyst – Key Skills:

• Minimum of five years’ experience in relevant Applications development practice, including experience in:
• 1 or more formal system development methodologies, including SSADM, V-Model & Agile (SCRUM & Kan Ban).
• Leading a software development project.
• Implementation of new software within a financial organisation.
• Experience of people supervision, including work allocation and performance reviews.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Expert in Requirement Elicitation Techniques and Meeting Facilitation.
• Expert in functional software design and related techniques (such as wire framing).
• Understands the roles of Information Systems within an international financial company.
• Staff Supervision Skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team of varying levels of experience.
• Strong analytical and design skills along with communication skills to allow the translation of business requirements into practical and achievable technical solutions.
• Analytical skills - Thinking Interprets quantitative and qualitative information to achieve a business-related objective.  Produces effective solutions to complex problems. Identifies underlying trends and issues and does not always stop at initial answer.  Systematic and logical.
• Good problem solving skills in order to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
