Location: This role offers flexibility, with the option to work from either our Manchester or Bristol offices. Travel between offices is required approximately twice per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts and Junior BA's, ensuring their projects align with delivery targets.
• Establish and enforce BA practices and standards within the Touch by AJ Bell change lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the Business Analysis Manager to define and document business analysis standards, ensuring adherence across the organization.
• Engage with stakeholders across multiple offices to gather and understand business requirements.
• Translate complex business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Align business requirements with strategic goals to drive organizational success.
• Foster effective communication between business units and development teams.
• Work closely with third-party vendors to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
• Collaborate with in-house development teams using Agile methodologies to ensure smooth implementation.
• Provide valuable industry insights and expertise to guide decision-making processes.

Requirements:

• Advanced competencies in business analysis, preferably supported by professional qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering digital change initiatives.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and proven track record of delivering changes.
• Ability to communicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in capturing and documenting clear requirements using various techniques.
• Skilled in breaking down ambiguous requirements into defined deliverables.
• Experience with agile delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with software concepts and technologies such as APIs, databases, and user interfaces.
• Proactive approach to personal development and staying updated on industry trends.
• Experience in managing teams and empowering Business Analysts.
• Effective stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptable to tight deadlines and changing requirements.
• Background in delivering change within the Financial Services industry, with knowledge of regulations.
