Lead Clinical Pharmacist

To lead, deliver, evaluate, actively promote and be responsible for providing a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to inpatients and outpatients including the provision of medicines optimisation to patients receiving biologic therapies. To lead on the biosimilar switch programme, in accordance with the objectives and priorities agreed by multi-professional collaboration including the post holder, Clinical Pharmacy Lead, Pharmacy Procurement Lead and Consultant Lead for specialities that prescribe biologics. To practice as a highly specialised Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to ensure medicine use is as safe as possible and to prescribe biologic treatments.
